Coaching philosophy

Coaching philosophy

Show up.
Work hard.
There are no shortcuts.

The club is a running club with a purpose. It is built on hard work, consistency and a positive environment. Athletes of every ability are welcome and challenged appropriately. They develop as runners and as people, and they become part of a strong running community.

For your child, that means training with a coach who has done the work at every level, from Monroe High School to the Olympic Games. Todd’s message to athletes is the one on this page: show up, work hard and stay consistent. Athletes learn to train with discipline, handle discomfort and keep going when motivation fades.
